To ask the President of the Board of Trade if the current mineworkers' redundancy terms will also apply to miners at the 21 pits in the coal review if any are made redundant after 27 March; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 24 February 1993]: As my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade made clear to the House on 20 January, the issue of redundancy after March 1993 will be dealt with in the White Paper.
