§ Mr. Charles WardleProgress is well in hand towards the implementation of the first phase of the national criminal records system—the updating and retrieval of criminal records on the police national computer—in the spring of 1994. My right hon. and learned Friend expects to publish by the summer of this year a consultation document on the use of criminal records for employment and related purposes.
