§ Mr. SoamesThe Health and Safety Executive is preparing a free leaflet for the general public explaining how to report incidents involving pesticides. The draft will be issued for external consultation shortly with a view to publication by the summer.
A freephone is available for reporting wildlife-related incidents. There are at present no plans to extend this facility.

§ Mr. SoamesThe Department has not given the Health and Safety Executive any guidelines concerning dealing with complaints of ill effects stemming from pesticide handling. Procedures for dealing with such complaints are a matter for the Health and Safety Executive.
