§ Mr. Nicholas BrownTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will continue to require Inland Revenue staff to sign the Official Secrets Act when the work is put into private agencies.
§ Mr. DorrellAll Inland Revenue staff and staff of contractors working for the Department who have access to information about taxpayers are, and will continue to be, required to sign an acknowledgement that improper disclosure may lead to imprisonment for up to two years, or a fine or both.
