§ Mr. MacleanMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment announced the Government's plans for the environment agency on 15 July 1992. Consideration is now being given to the detailed provisions which would be necessary to establish such an agency and legislation will be introduced at the earliest opportunity.
