To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many cases of anthrax were treated in each of the health authorities in Wales in each year since 1980; and if he will make a statement.

There were no notifications of anthrax in Wales in the years 1980 to 1992. This information remains subject to verification for 1991 and 1992.
