§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe number of warheads carried by a British Trident submarine is a matter for Her Majesty's Government. We have long made clear that each submarine will enter service carrying no more than 128 warheads. The exact number to be deployed will be decided in the light of the circumstances at the time.
