Mr. Milburn

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, pursuant to his answer of 15 December 1992Official Report, columns 155–56, what conclusions he has drawn from the pilot rent deposit scheme in West London.

I am advised by the Department of Environment that the pilot project for a rent deposit fund operated by the Notting Hill Housing Trust is due to end on 30 June 1993. We await the evaluation of this project with interest.
