To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what, for the latest available year, was the cost to his Department of expenditure in support of the royal family in respect of publicity services.

The cost of work undertaken for the royal household by the Central Office of Information in 1991–92 for press facilities totalled £318,260, excluding VAT.
