§ Mr. SproatTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list all those non-departmental public bodies for which his Department is responsible which have the power to compel individuals, firms, companies or other376W institutions to carry out their instructions at the expense of the individuals, firms, companies or other institutions, and also to charge fees for the cost to the non-departmental public bodies of assessing the work which needed to be done.
§ Mr. Mates[holding answer 16 February 1993]: The non-departmental bodies in Northern Ireland which fall into this category are:
- The area health and social services boards
- The Northern Ireland Housing Executive
- The Fire Authority for Northern Ireland
