§ Mr. ScottA number of organisations and individuals, including Professor Morgan, submitted written evidence to the council which informed its report, "Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema" [Cm. 2091]. The council, which is an independent body, often receives unpublished information which it treats in confidence. This is, therefore, a matter for the council and for the individual organisations and persons concerned.
