§ Mr. Eggar[holding answer 16 February 1993]: The radiologically significant materials, which British Nuclear Fuels plc proposes to remove from Sellafield's sea discharges by use of the site's enhanced actinide removal plant, will be in the form of an intermediate level waste sludge. This will be encapsulated within stainless steel drums for storage and eventual disposal in Nirex's proposed deep underground disposal facility.
