To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what representations he has recently received about the release of specific retained documents by the Public Record Office; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Robert Jackson
In response to my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy's invitation to historians in June 1992 to inform him of blocks of closed records that should now be considered for release, he has received more than 50 representations relating to the release of such records.
