§ Sir George YoungThe total regional allocations in respect of home improvement agencies—HIAs—in 1991–92 and 1992–93 are set out in the table. In addition, we have allocated £290,000 in 1991–92 and £361,995 in 1992–93 to Care and Repair Ltd. as the national co-ordinating body for HIAs with responsibility for monitoring performance, providing training and specialist advice to agencies and undertaking scheme development.
