§ Mr. StrawTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will place in the Library on disk, and publish as soon as possible, a table showing for each local authority(a) its original estimate of capital receipts in 1992–93 and (b) its revised estimate capital receipts in 1992–93 recently supplied to his Department.
§ Mr. HowardI have today placed in the Library a table showing the estimates of capital receipts in 1992–93 provided by each local authority on each of the three statistical returns received so far. All the estimates were 303W made before the relaxation in the rules governing the use of capital receipts by local authorities which was announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his autumn statement.
