To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what action he takes to prevent those known to have been mercenary soldiers enlisting in regular or territorial forces.

There is no specific bar to prevent anyone who has served as a mercenary from enlisting into the regular or reserve forces. Information about an applicant's service as a mercenary should normally be revealed during the selection process and each would be considered on its own merits.
