To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects Blakenhurst prison to open.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the newly appointed governor and deputy governor of Blakenhurst prison were earlier employed at governor grade in the public prison sector.

A contracted-out prison is run by a director not a governor. The director and deputy director of Blakenhurst prison were formerly employed by Her Majesty's prison service.
