§ Mr. NorrisThe third package of aviation liberalisation measures, which came into effect on 1 January, has introduced a fully liberal air freight market in the EC. This means that routes between the United Kingdom and other EC member states can be operated by any EC licensed air carrier. The provision of facilities for such operations is for the carriers and airports concerned.
