To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she has invited the Royal College of General Practitioners to make nominations for membership of the advisory committee on NHS drugs.

§ Sir Dudley Smith
To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether she has invited the Royal College of General Practitioners to make nominations for membership of the newly constituted advisory committee on national health service drugs.

§ Dr. Mawhinney
The Royal College of General Practitioners was one of the professional bodies which we consulted before appointing the new members of the committee whose names I announced in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Newark (Mr. Alexander) on 10 February at column697.
