§ Mr. HurdThe latest estimate of the total cost of the new secret intelligence service headquarters is £236 million. The cost of the site and original construction was some £150 million and completion costs including fitting out and equipping the building are likely to be a further £86 million. Part of the cost relates to the specialised nature of the secret intelligence service's requirements. It is not usual or sensible to comment further on matters of this nature.
