To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he hopes to respond to representations on the need for pedestrian crossing facilities on the A49 in Dorrington, Shrewsbury.

Discussions on the need for pedestrian crossing facilities on the A49 in Dorrington have been proceeding for some time. The Department's officials are arranging to meet representatives of Shropshire county council and Condover parish council later this month to discuss the options.
