To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how often Mr. Muir Russell of his Department has met representatives of Stagecoach Holdings plc, in connection with his official duties, in each of the past five years.

Prior to the first discussion of his possible appointment as a non-executive director, which was held on 1 December 1992, Mr. Russell had no meetings with representatives of Stagecoach Holdings plc.
