To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what are the names of the companies that have given grants to the milking and mastitis centre in Compton, Berkshire.

Between 1985 and 1992 the milking and mastitis centre was in receipt of funds from the Milk Marketing Board. The centre has recently entered into a contract with a commercial company, under which the company is funding work to the value of some £140,000 over a period of three years. It is one of the terms of the contract that the identity of the company should be treated as commercial-in-confidence information.
