Mr. RookerTo ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to his answer of 27 January,Official Report, column 744, if he will bring forward proposals that local authorities forwarding tuition fees to higher education institutions after the specified date should add a payment for interest.

§ 158. Mr. RookerTo ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will make a statement on representations he has received from and on behalf of higher education institutions in respect of late payment of the tuition fees from his Department via local authorities.
