Mr. Hinchliffe

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will publish figures showing health expenditure as a proportion of gross domestic product for each year since 1979.

[pursuant to his reply, 29 January column 889]: I regret that there was an error in my previous reply.

The estimated gross expenditure as a percentage of GDP for 1992–93 should read 6.0. The corrected table is as follows:
