§ Mr. NorrisThe Government retained a small shareholding in British Airways following privatisation in order to meet entitlements which were expected to arise under the loyalty bonus arrangements forming part of the offer for sale. The holding currently amounts to about 3.2 million shares, or 0.4 per cent. of total shareholdings in the company.
