To ask the Secretary of State for Education what is his estimate of the amount to be spent in 1993–94 in rent and other costs associated with the offices of his Department in Sanctuary buildings, Great Smith street, London.

§ Mr. Boswell
The estimated rent for Sanctuary buildings for the financial year 1993–94 is £10,368,823. This figure includes the service charge and VAT. The estimated contribution in lieu of rates to be made for Sanctuary buildings is £2,350,400.
