§ Mr. SteenTo ask the right hon. Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed, as representing the House of Commons Commission, pursuant to his answer of 11 January,Official Report, column 551, if he will outline the initiatives planned by the Director of Finance and Administration to improve financial management systems in House Departments.
§ Mr. BeithIn addition to the further development of measures already taken, the Director of Finance and Administration is planning to introduce an integrated payroll and personnel system for staff of the House early in the next financial year. A new computer system for the Fees Office is also under consideration.
