To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will meet a delegation of hon. Members to discuss compensation for nuclear test veterans.

Yes, but I see no advantage in doing so until the National Radiological Protection Board has published its updated study. The evidence available to date shows that the total incidence of death and malignant disease among nuclear test veterans has been no worse than among the population in general.
