§ Mr. MilburnTo ask the Secretary of State for Health how many hospitals in each region are on(a) yellow alert and (b) red alert.
§ Mr. SackvilleHealth authorities and trusts all have arrangements for managing their resources to cope with particularly high and unexpected levels of admissions. The action which is needed will vary according to local circumstances and there is not therefore a nationally agreed definition of "red" and "yellow" alerts.
