§ Sir Wyn RobertsThe proposals for a trans-European road network are indicative only, and are being considered by member states. Plans for developing the road network in Wales are set out in the 1992 supplement to "Roads in Wales". My right hon. Friend and I have made it clear that our plans will not include upgrading the A5 through Snowdonia to motorway or dual-carriageway standard, and we have not discussed these proposals with national park officials.
