§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe have received regular reports from our posts in India about the recent communal violence there. My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister discussed the situation with the Indian Prime Minister during his visit to India in January. We have condemned the violence and support the principles of Indian secular democracy and protection for religious minorities.
