§ Mr. MacleanThe requirements of directive 85/337 on environmental impact assessment have been fully incorporated into existing regulatory systems for controlling marine developments. EIA procedures are being considered as part of the Government's review of the effectiveness of regulations below the low water mark, which I announced on 8 July last year in response to a question from the hon. Member for Kincardine and Deeside (Mr. Kynoch), at column 252.
