Dr. Strang

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many producers are entitled to hill livestock compensatory allowances in Gwynedd; and how many of those are located in severely disadvantaged areas.

Some 2,900 claimants in Gwynedd currently receive hill livestock compensatory allowance. Of these, some 1,900 have land located in the severely disadvantaged areas.
