It is not considered practicable or appropriate to list the many and varied qualifications of the individual appointees, but my right hon. Friend will have satisfied himself as to their relevance before making the appointments. The Department usually does not know, and certainly would not specifically record, the political affiliation of appointees. Remuneration of port authority appointees is a matter for the authorities themselves.
