To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the percentage change in(a) real terms and (b) cash terms of his Department's budget from 1992–93 to 1993–94.

There is no change in real terms between the Home Office's estimated outturn for 1992–93 and its planned expenditure fur 1993–94, but there is an increase of 2.75 per cent. in cash terms.
