§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleThe southbound access slip road is expected to re-open on 11 February. Some further overnight closures will, however, be necessary before the works are fully completed in mid-March. The closure of the slip road is to allow strengthening works to be carried out on both carriageways of the M6 between junction 1 and the M1.
§ Mr. Mike O'BrienTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport what estimate he has made of the effect on road accident figures of a new junction on the M6 west of Corley services.
§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleThe Secretary of State has no plans to build a junction on the M6 west of Corley services. Consequently, no such estimate has been made.
