§ Mr. McLeishTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement about the resignation of Mrs. Ann Ferguson from the chairmanship of Fife health board; and what severance or compensation payment was made on her resignation.
§ Mr. StewartMy right hon. Friend has nothing to add to the statements issued by Mrs. Ferguson and by him on 22 January. Any payment made to Mrs. Ferguson at the time her resignation takes effect will be subject to normal rules for reporting expenditure to Parliament.
