§ Mr. Gordon Prentice
To ask the President of the Board of Trade what was the quantity and value of denim cloth imported into the United Kingdom from(a) the United States of America, (b) India, (c) Hong Kong, (d) Italy, (e) Germany, (f) Belgium, (g) Ireland and (h) other European Community countries for each year since 1987.

The available information on quantity and value of denim imports is given in the table.
