To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what estimate he has made of the length of time a person can be immersed in water at(a) 8 deg C, (b) 9 deg C, (c) 10 deg C, (d) 11 deg C, (e) 12 deg C, (f) 14 deg C, (g) 15 deg C and (h) 16 deg C before standing at least a 50 per cent. chance of becoming unconscious; and how rapidly their chances of survival in percentage terms decrease at each of those temperatures.
