To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department if he will take steps to restore the commercial court to full strength; and if he will make a statement.

Three nominations have been made recently to the pool of judges who may sit in the commercial court, bringing the number of nominees up to 11. Additional judges are therefore available for the Lord Chief Justice to deploy there, subject to other demands for judges of the Queen's Bench Division.
