§ Mr. PattenIt would not be appropriate to name an individual institution on the basis of comments made to me in confidence by a constituent. I am confident that the new criteria for courses of initial teacher training which I have published in recent circulars will, when fully implemented, ensure that all student teachers receive suitable classroom experience throughout their training.
