HL Deb 17 December 1993 vol 550 c153WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many bona fide users of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens require space to park their cars in Hyde Park, and whether they will ensure that any car parking made available in Hyde Park cannot conveniently be used by commuters or shoppers, in accordance with both the recommendations of the Jenkins Report on Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and subsequent statements by Ministers.

Baroness Trumpington

Responsibility for the subject of the question has been delegated to the Royal Parks Agency under its Chief Executive, Mr. David Welch. I have asked him to reply to Lord Kennet direct.
