To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list in descending order the 30 developing countries with the highest percentage of debt servicing in relation to their national wealth, stating the percentage in each case.

[holding answer 16 December 1993]: The 30 developing countries with the highest percentage of debt servicing due in 1993 on long-term external debt in relation to gross national product—the best available proxy for national wealth—are:
