Whether they will be making an announcement on the future of Red Star Parcels.
The Earl of CaithnessToday, the British Railways Board announced with the agreement of the Government that it will be withdrawing the sale of Red Star as no satisfactory offers for the business have been received. The Board will now seek urgently to prepare a new management plan for Red Star, with a view to achieving financial viability and successful disposal in 1994.
