§ Mr. ChannonPrivate contractors are used extensively in the provision of services to the House. The Parliamentary Works Directorate makes use of contractors and consultants for works projects funded by subheads Al, A2, and A3 of the vote for works services; and Departments of the House commission consultants and contractors to provide administrative or technical support in such fields as recruitment, training, catering and information technology. Details are a matter for the respective heads of Department.
