§ Sir John CopeAir passenger duty will be collected from airlines. It is expected that they will charge it to customers when the ticket is sold. Customs and Excise are discussing with the airline industry details of the operation of the duty, including arrangements to ensure that the correct amount of duty is charged for passengers on multi-legged journeys.
