§ Mr. FreemanBritish Rail is evaluating the technical trials, costs and benefits of automatic train protection systems. I understand that British Rail expects to reach 831W conclusions on the results of that work by the spring. I shall review ATP policy with British Rail and Railtrack in the light of those conclusions and of advice from the Health and Safety Commission.
