§ Mr. Neil HamiltonThe Beer Orders require brewers owning more than 2,000 pubs to permit their tenants to purchase a guest beer. Imposition by the brewers of minimum purchase orders for their own beer is not necessarily incompatible with that requirement. The Director General of Fair Trading is responsible for monitoring compliance with the Beer Orders and anyone who believes they have evidence of a breach of the orders should write to him.
