§ Mr. Gwilym JonesNo. There are fewer than 100 cases outstanding at employing authority level; some 1,100 at the Welsh appeals committee level; and 228 cases at the national level. I am optimistic that recent discussions between both sides of the Nursing and Midwifery Staffs Negotiating Council will shortly result in new procedures for clearing all outstanding cases at the Welsh and national levels.
